Good Works

These are some of the reasons why we do what we do.

We've gone solar at the brewery

We officially have our solar panels installed and are running around 95% of the brewery on them, we are shooting for 100% by 2021! The people at Solar Energy Solutions have been great to work with, please reach out to them if you are interested in going solar.

Face Masks

During these trying times we wanted to find a way to involve and give back to our community. We've achieved this goal by coordinating a group of volunteers to make masks for healthcare workers through our coffee sales. All of the money made from our coffee goes directly to buying supplies for our volunteers. If you would like to get involved please email [email protected]

Help us spread the word about BCL

The Business Climate Leaders (BCL) group exists in tandem with the Citizens' Climate Lobby (CCL) but focuses on reaching business and community leaders. To assist BCL, we are organizing a local Grasstops Outreach (GO) Team for central KY. If you are a business owner or community leader who is interested helping us promote environmental policies locally, gives us a shout.

Pivot is fortunate to be able to help again this year with Ironcology’s Survive the Night Relays. This race, which is presented by Baptist Health and organized by cancer doc/triathlete extraordinaire Jonathan Feddock in conjunction with the Bluegrass Runners, helps raise funds for family support for cancer patients. The races will be held at Kroger Field on June 19th and 20th, and the event includes an overnight, team-based Ironman distance triathlon and a team-based marathon. Follow the link above to Ironcology’s page for more information, and look for news about Pivot’s marathon team, which is defending its title this year.

Taste of the Bluegrass

We are working with Taste of the Bluegrass to minimize the impact of this event as much as possible.
